Digitel Group attended one of the biggest technology events within the US - Ribbon Perspectives - which took place in the US capital city of Washington D.C. The event was hosted at the JW Marriott Hotel and conference center on Pennsylvania Avenue. During the conference Digitel also came to an agreement to launch Ribbons Digital Cognitive Agent (DCA) on its Temovi cloud platform with field trials commencing in June 2019.

Digitel's Network Service Manager, Danny de Brabander, is turning his love of football into a fundraiser to help build a new specialist hospital for people in Merseyside. In January 2019 Danny was diagnosed with bowel cancer that had spread to his liver. Danny, a former football coach at Southport Under-21s, is drawing on his experience and enthusiasm for a special charity football game at the Tranmere Rovers ground in Prenton Park.

Every Business and Residential Telephone Service that uses a traditional phone line will be Discontinued by 2025! Following 12 months of consultations with Digitel and other network service providers, Openreach have finally served notice of changes that will seriously affect all businesses and residential services in the UK. Analogue and ISDN lines will be replaced by VoIP services over broadband.
